Justin Bieber – the poster boy is slipping

Don’t you wish someone would tell Justin Bieber to stop being such an idiot!

I have long wanted to write a post on Justin. While his music is certainly not to my taste, I admire him for his grit, determination and the way he built up an amazing career.

But here is my beef with him; he never appears to me to understand the responsibility that comes with the fame, the responsibility he has to all the young girls who follow him. They follow him because he has a squeaky clean image, because he is the young poster boy of how to be good and clean and wholesome. However as I alluded to in an earlier article, Justin has as I suspected clearly surrounded himself with people who won’t tell him what an idiot he is or how he should take his fame more seriously.

Now I don’t believe everything I see in the papers, but when Justin Bieber said he is “trying to be better” after photos were published that appear to show the 18-year-old singer smoking cannabis, you have to believe that there is some truth in them, don’t you? Then we have the very public split and rumours about Justin’s antics; you have to feel for him. And I think that transition from teen sensation to man, all in the public eye, has to be one of the most difficult things for anyone to deal with.

However, the latest Justin headline has me a little disturbed. It is a picture of him with a fan and he appears to be groping her breast, although of course the official line is he was pulling away from her, followed by some pretty arrogant pictures of him showing his chest. I feel for him, I really do. He gets a hard time and it must be so difficult and challenging for one so young.

However, I think that all celebrities need to accept and understand the responsibility that comes with their fame and someone needs to get Justin in check, or at least some friendly advice please. I don’t want to see him go down a deep dark tunnel that he may not be able to get out of.

What do you think?

Celebrity News: Cindy Crawford’s daughter, Kaia, makes modelling debut aged TEN

A new child star is born

Posing for the very first Young Versace ad, Kaia appears to have inherited her mother’s confidence in front of the camera.

Wearing highlights from the designer line, which caters to children up to the age of 12, she stares boldly at the lens with her hands in her pockets.

Her Mother Cindy said  that she was present throughout the shoot, describing it as a ‘fantastic experience’. ’I am so proud of her,’ she revealed.

Normally this would worry me at 10, however for a few reasons this doesn’t.

First she is modelling a range of clothes for her age group and yes while the skirt is short she doesn’t look like some kind of child hooker – in fact quite the opposite I think. Secondly Cindy Crawford has always struck me as someone with her feet firming on the ground and I am sure she will ensure her daughter is protected all the way.

We look forward to seeing more of Kaia and those very long legs!
